How I started

 

​I started sewing in 2020 as a way to pass time during the Covid lockdowns. I was 36 weeks pregnant with my first baby -Daphne, at the time. On top of this, I work as a professional violinist, and it was so difficult to watch our industry collapse overnight. I found a wonderful escape at the sewing machine, focusing on creating tiny, cute outfits for my impending arrival. It quickly escalated into creating my own designs for family and friends, with people often asking where the items were from and encouraging me to offer things for sale to the public. I felt it was important to spend the time creating the perfect pieces to sell. Each item has been carefully considered for comfort, sizing and cuteness! Each item is handmade by me from my living room in the rural village of Torphichen, Scotland. I only select organic jersey cotton from trusted fabric producers for maximum quality, durability and minimal environmental impact.
 

Unless you select from the 'Ready to Ship' page, your item will be handmade to order. This is guaranteed within a 2 week time frame, and can be done quicker if requested. Once made, it will be swiftly posted via Royal Mail and with you ASAP. Modifications can be requested such as extra length, slim waistband, room for a cloth nappy etc, just pop your request in the text space on the purchase page or send me an email.
